Swim/ Self Launch Annual Membership

Wild Swim and Self Launch Membership 

 

Swimming and Self Launch at Wild Shore New Brighton provides you with a safe and secure environment to swim in our swim lane or use your own SUP or Kayak in our pay and paddle zone while still enjoying the benefits of being on the open water. Our Wild Swimming lane and Self Launch Membership can be used at anytime within our operational hours(found on website) and lasts for one year. Wild Shore New Brighton staff will periodically check memberships throughout the season. 

 

Wild Swimming and Self Launch is NOT supervised and is for EXPERIENCED swimmers, kayakers or paddle boarders only. Memberships are non transferable between participants. 

 

Minimum age: 13 years + 

 

Wild Swim Participants must: 

• Wear a bright swim cap & tow float mandatory 
• Swim 50m unaided 
• Have experience swimming in open water 

 

Self Launch Participants must: 

• Be able to self rescue
• Swim 50m unaided 
• Paddle upwind 
• Have adequate paddle technique 
• Have previous paddling experience and have the ability to paddle 500m unaided 
• Wear a leash and a buoyancy aid at all times
